Being presented by the Ascend Media Gaming Group, and scheduled to take place on July 18 at none other than the Paris Casino in Las Vegas, which is an approximation since the exact details are not yet available, that being the location that has been selected for this first only Hispanic Gaming Summit. Conveniently and almost unbelievably, the event will precede the Third Annual Casino Marketing Conference.
It is at this Hispanic Gaming Summit that the questions of what are the opportunities along with the responsibilities that the amazingly fast-growing Hispanic population is presenting to gaming operators in every part of the United States.
In conference sessions that are being planned, the topics to be addressed are to include an in-depth look at the demographic and cultural aspects of the substantial Hispanic market, as well as case studies regarding the most effective means for marketing to Hispanics by gaming companies, along with dealing with the issue of how to build and maintain both constructive and mutually shared rewarding relationships with the Hispanic community.
A Santa Ana, Calif., based firm named Harrison & Montoya Associates, which is known to have extensive experience in both the gaming industry and the U.S. Hispanic market, will be acting as co-presenter of the Summit. Charles Harrison who runs Harrison & Montoya, has more than 15 years of experience in the gaming industry and this includes being Managing Director for North America for the Spanish gaming giant CIRSA/UNIDESA. His partner is Martha Montoya, who is a woman who is recognized by Hispanic Business magazine as being one America’s 100 most influential Hispanic business leaders.
